Other agricultural machinery can be operated by connecting it to the tractor. From ploughing the field to taking the crop to the market for sale, the tractor plays an important role. Keeping all these things in mind, the government provides the benefit of subsidies to the farmers on the purchase of tractors.

For this, applications are invited from time to time from the farmers. In this sequence, applications have been sought from the Madhya Pradesh government for the purchase of tractors to the farmers. For this, subsidy is being given to the farmers of the general category up to Rs. Farmers of the state can avail subsidy on tractors by applying under this scheme.

How much subsidy will be given on buying tractor

Under the Integrated Horticulture Development Mission Scheme on behalf of the Department of Horticulture and Food Processing, Madhya Pradesh, the benefit of subsidies on agricultural machinery is provided to the farmers. Under this, there is a provision to give different subsidies to different categories of farmers on 20 HP tractors. Under the scheme, 25 percent subsidy of the cost is given to the general category farmers of Madhya Pradesh with a maximum amount of Rs 75,000 per unit.

Whereas for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Women, Small and Marginal farmers, 35 percent subsidy of the cost is provided with a maximum amount of one lakh rupees per unit.

Remaining targets for 2021-22 and targets for 2022-23 released

Under the Integrated Horticulture Development Mission (MIDH) scheme, the remaining target for the year 2021-22 and the target for the year 2022-23 have been issued to the farmers on tractors.

The remaining targets for the year 2021-22, which are to be implemented in the year 2022-23. His target is 238. In this, the target is 147 for the general category and 91 for the scheduled caste, scheduled tribe, women, small and marginal farmers.

Farmers of these districts can apply

The target of remaining tractors from last year has been released for 40 districts. Against the released targets, 40 districts of the state Alirajpur, Ashoknagar, Agar, Indore, Agar, Indore, Ujjain, Khandwa, Khargone, Guna, Gwalior, Chhatarpur, Chhindwara, Jabalpur, Jhabua, Tikamgarh, Dindori, Datia, Damoh, Dewas, Farmers of Dhar, Neemuch, Panna, Barwani, Burhanpur, Betul, Bhopal, Mandsaur, Mandla, Ratlam, Rajgarh, Raisen, Rewa, Vidisha, Shajapur, Satna, Sagar, Singrauli, Sehore, Sidhi, Harda, Hoshangabad can apply.

At the same time, tractors of the general category for the year 2022-23 will be given to the farmers of 9 districts. These 9 districts are Gwalior, Datia, Ashoknagar, Guna, Chhindwara, Betul, Alirajpur, Khargone. Similarly, 10 tractors will be given to 8 districts in the year 2022-23 to SC, ST, women, small and marginal farmers. These districts are Jhabua, Khandwa, Mandla, Dindori, Chhidwara, Betul, Dhar, Alirajpur, Khargone, Ratlam.

Documents required to apply for tractor subsidy

Under the Integrated Horticulture Development Mission Scheme on behalf of the Department of Horticulture and Food Processing, Madhya Pradesh, the documents that will be required while applying according to the target issued to the farmers to get the benefit of grants on agricultural machinery are as follows. –

  • Aadhar card of the farmer applying
  • Photo of the farmer applying
  • Field papers containing Khasra No./B-1/Lata copy
  • Copy of bank passbook for bank details
  • Farmer’s caste certificate
  • Farmer’s residence certificate

When and where farmers should apply for subsidy on tractor

To take advantage of subsidy scheme on tractor, eligible farmers of the state can apply online on the portal of Horticulture and Food Processing Department, Madhya Pradesh. Applications can be made against the released target from 10 am on 25 August 2022 to 5 September 2022.
