At AgroVision 2025 in Nagpur, Kubota Tractor showcased the MU4201 2WD in addition to its current MU lineup. From November 21–24, 2025, AgroVision attracted farmers, manufacturers, and dealers from all over the area.
The 2WD version of the MU4201 family, which debuted in India earlier in 2025, provides a useful and affordable choice for operators who favour simpler drivetrains for light-to-medium farm work. Industry coverage lists technical specifications like a ~2434 cc four-cylinder engine and a rated lifting capacity of about 1.6 tonnes for the model, placing the MU4201 in the ~41–44 HP class.

At AgroVision, Kubota emphasized real-world benefits: user-friendly controls, fuel-efficient operation for long field hours, and easier maintenance compared with higher-spec 4WD units. These traits make the 2WD MU4201 appealing for smaller and mid-sized farms where cost of ownership and manoeuvrability matter most. With this launch, Kubota further strengthens its product lineup and competitiveness in the Indian tractor market.
