India Tractor Retail Sales Reach 82,080 Units in March 2026

India’s tractor retail market saw a steady growth of 9.25% in March 2026 with the sales at 82,080 units as per the data generated through Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA). This represents an increase from 74,032 units sold in March 2025 and shows that the demand remains high in the agricultural segment.

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Tractor Division) remained the market leader with 19,652 units sold and a 23.94% market share. Mahindra Group continued its dominance in the segment with the third best-selling vehicle being from the company’s Swaraj Division, which sold 16,007 units and a market share of 19.50%.

International Tractors Limited took third place with sales of 10,194 units for a 12.42 percent market share. Escorts Kubota Limited with 8,926 units accounted for 10.87% of the total market share and TAFE Limited with a total of 8,489 units captured about 10.34% share.

Khetigaadi

Among other players, John Deere India Pvt. Ltd. which reported 6,460 units (7.87%) and Eicher Tractors with 4,661 units (5.68%). CNH Industrial (India) Pvt. Ltd. sold 3,931 units for a share of 4.79%. “Others” held 3,760 registrations with a 4.58% share of the total market.
