Manure and Fertilizer for Indian squash Cultivation: Apply Nitrogen 40 kg (Urea 90 kg), Phosphorus 20 kg (Single Super Phosphate 125 kg), and Potash 20 kg (Murate of Potash 35 kg) per acre to the entire crop. Apply 1/3 dose of Nitrogen, full dose of Phosphorus, and Potash at the time of sowing. Apply the remaining amount of nitrogen at the time of early plant growth. On the other hand, to get a higher yield of Indian squash, spraying of 50 ppm of maleic hydrazide on the leaves of 2 to 4 percent in the Indian squash fields can increase the yield by 50-60 percent.
