Haryana’s Agriculture Minister announced new infrastructure projects to boost agriculture

In a significant push towards infrastructure development, Haryana’s Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister, Mr. Kanwar Pal, inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for development projects totaling approximately ₹2.78 crore in the village of Kishanpura, located in the Yamunanagar district. The initiative marks a substantial investment in the region’s infrastructure, aimed at enhancing the quality of life for local residents. 

Key Inaugurations and Infrastructure Projects 

During the event, Mr. Kanwar Pal inaugurated a newly constructed 1.5-kilometer road connecting Paonta Sahib Road to Kishanpura village. This road, built at a cost of ₹95.26 lakh, is expected to significantly improve connectivity for the villagers, facilitating easier access to nearby towns and boosting local trade. 

Additionally, the minister inaugurated a new Anganwadi building, constructed with an investment of ₹8 lakh. The facility will provide crucial services such as early childhood education, nutrition, and healthcare, supporting the well-being and development of young children in the community. 

Following the inaugurations, Mr. Kanwar Pal performed the ‘bhoomi poojan’ (groundbreaking ceremony) for a community hall set to be built at a cost of ₹1.40 crore. This community hall is anticipated to serve as a central hub for local events, gatherings, and social activities, fostering community spirit and cohesion. 

The minister also laid the foundation stone for a paved road connecting Kishanpura to Kadkoli village, with an estimated construction cost of ₹34.88 lakh. This new road will enhance rural connectivity and contribute to the overall economic development of the area. 

Emphasis on Development, Meritocracy, and Infrastructure

Addressing the gathered residents, Mr. Kanwar Pal highlighted the government’s commitment to development, emphasizing that the current administration has completed ten times more development projects than the previous government did in a decade. He noted that the focus on infrastructure is part of a broader strategy to uplift rural communities and improve living standards across the state. 

The minister also stressed the government’s commitment to transparency and meritocracy, stating that government jobs are being allocated based on merit, without any need for bribes or recommendations. This approach aims to ensure that opportunities are accessible to all, fostering a fair and equitable environment for the youth.
