Haryana’s Agriculture Minister announced new infrastructure projects to boost agriculture
In a significant push towards infrastructure development, Haryana’s Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister, Mr. Kanwar Pal, inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for development projects totaling approximately ₹2.78 crore in the village of Kishanpura, located in the Yamunanagar district. During the event, Mr. Kanwar Pal inaugurated a newly constructed 1.5-kilometer road connecting Paonta Sahib Road to Kishanpura village. This road, built at a cost of ₹95.26 lakh, is expected to significantly improve connectivity for the villagers, facilitating easier access to nearby towns and boosting local trade.
Additionally, the minister inaugurated a new Anganwadi building, constructed with an investment of ₹8 lakh. The facility will provide crucial services such as early childhood education, nutrition, and healthcare, supporting the well-being and development of young children in the community.
Following the inaugurations, Mr. Kanwar Pal performed the ‘bhoomi poojan’ (groundbreaking ceremony) for a community hall set to be built at a cost of ₹1.40 crore.
