64-year-old farmer Kaushal Kishore, the resident of Audra village of “Rath ” development block of the district, has been interested in farming and horticulture since childhood.

He says that six years ago, twenty kilos of seeds were received from the Horticulture Department to cultivate turmeric. Their training was also given.

After this, he started cultivating turmeric in the guava orchard. There is horticulture in about one and a half hectares.

In which one hectare of guava and half a hectare of Musammi, lemon, and 11 saplings of apple have also been planted. Turmeric is cultivated below one acre. They also produce Shatavari, Ashwagandha, Sarpagandha.
