February 13, 2024, FADA released retail tractor sales data. This data shows that total tractor sales in January 2024 were 88,671 units, which was similar to 73,184 units sold in January 2023. As a result, tractor sales in India showed a high of 21.16% in January 2024.

 Brand wise, FADA releases Tractor Sales Report 2024. In January 2024, the number of Mahindra tractor units sold stood at 20,474 units, up from 16,969 units in the year-ago month. It is clear from this sales data that Mahindra tractor sales have increased by 20.66%. As a result, the company suffered a small loss of 0.10% in market share in January 2024. 

Mahindra & Mahindra’s Swaraj tractor division witnessed a growth of 32.02% in its tractor sales in January 2024. The company sold 16,456 units in January 2024, while 12,465 units were sold in January 2023. With this, Swaraj Tractor increased its market share by 1.53%

Sonalika Tractors projects 28.63% growth in retail tractor sales in India in 2024. The company sold 11,515 units of tractors in January 2024, compared to 8,952 units in January 2023. With this, Sonalika Tractor has increased its market share to 0.76%. 

TAFE Limited increased its market share by 1.53%. The company reported a growth of 38.12% in retail tractor sales in January 2024 at 11,003 units as against 7,966 units in January 2023.

 Escorts tractors sold 8,185 units in January 2024, while 7,675 units were sold in January 2023. This makes it clear that sales increased by 6.64% in January 2024. With this, the company has recorded a loss of 1.26% in market share.

 Eicher Tractors reported 27.01% growth in tractor sales in January 2024. The company sold 6,226 units in January 2024, while 4,902 units were sold in January 2023. Moreover, the company has also gained a market share of 0.32%. 

John Deere Tractor Company sold 5,739 units in January 2024, compared to 5,782 units in January 2023. From this it is clear that there was a decline of 0.74% in tractor sales. The company has also lost its market share by 1.43% in January 2024.

 New Holland Tractors sold 3,501 units in January 2024, while 2,858 units were sold in January 2023. It is clear from this data that sales increased by 22.50% in January 2024. Additionally, the company also increased its market share by 0.04% in the same month.

 Kubota Tractors reports 25.47% decline in retail tractor sales in January 2024. With this result, the company sold 1,732 units in January 2024 compared to 2,324 units in the same month last year. As a result, Kubota tractors have recorded a decline of 1.23% in market share. 

Captain Tractor Company has registered a growth of 290.25% in retail tractor sales in January 2024. Along with this, the company has also increased its market share by 0.72%. This month, the company sold 921 units, while the figure was 236 units in the same month last year.

 VST tillers and tractor sales have declined by 14.96% in January 2024, with sales at 483 units as against 568 units in January 2023. With this, the retail market share of the company has decreased by 0.24%. 

Apart from that, other brands have registered a decline of 2.05% in January 2024. Tractor sales in January 2024 were 2,436 units, compared to 2,487 units in January 2023. With this result, the market share has also declined by 0.65% in the same month.
