Grant will be given on the establishment of the Custom Hiring Center: Recently, in the Lok Sabha, MP Uday Pratap Singh had raised questions regarding the establishment of a new Custom Hiring Center, Skill Development Center, and Yantra Doots in Madhya Pradesh.
In response to this, Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said that 3 thousand new custom hiring centers are going to be opened in Madhya Pradesh.
Due to this more and more modern agricultural machines will be available to the farmers. Along with this, skill development centers will also be established in the state.

Apart from this, a skill development center will also be established in the state.
At present, skill development centers are being run in Bhopal, Jabalpur, Satna, Sagar, and Gwalior divisions of the state. In the next financial year, the target is to start 4 new skill development centers in Ujjain, Narmadapuram, Chambal, and Shahdol divisions.
600 new agricultural machinery systems will be installed. Agriculture Minister Shri Narendra Singh Tomar said in response to the question that under the Yantradoot Gram Yojana of the Madhya Pradesh Government, a target has also been set to establish mechanized farming system in 600 villages.
Under this, along with training and excursion programs in a planned manner, cluster demonstrations are organized on a large scale. In Madhya Pradesh, farmers are given subsidies by the government for setting up Custom Hiring Centers (CHCs) up to Rs.25 lakhs.
Under this scheme, 40 percent credit linked to back-ended subsidies up to a maximum of Rs 10 lakh is given to farmers for setting up custom hiring centers.
The calculation of grant/subsidy is given as per the provision given for each instrument in the Sub Mission on Agriculture Mechanization scheme. Apart from this, an additional interest subsidy of 3 percent will also be given to the beneficiary farmers on the bank loan taken on this scheme.
Farmers can rent these agricultural machines from Custom Hiring Center: The Custom Hiring Center has all types of equipment used in agriculture keeping in view the requirement of the farmers.
From here, farmers can do farming or horticulture work by taking agricultural machinery by paying the fixed rent.
The agricultural implements that are available at the Custom Hiring Center include Tractor, MB/Disc Pew, Cultivator, Rotavator, Seed Cum Fertilizer Drill, Self Propelled Seed Cum Fertilizer Drill, Tractor Driven Reaper, Self Propelled Reaper, Self Propelled Reaper cum Binder, Thresher, Agricultural machinery includes power sprayer, knapsack sprayer, power weeder, etc.
Apart from this, many small instruments are also in the custom hiring center.
Eligibility and Conditions for Establishment of Custom Hiring Center: Custom Hiring Center Minimum Rs.10 lakh and maximum Rs. Can be set up at a cost of up to 25 lakhs.
The grant will be eligible only if the center is established on the basis of a bank loan.
The grant will be paid to the bank sanctioning the loan, which will be adjusted in the beneficiary’s account after the beneficiary repays the bank loan.
Under the scheme, along with individual applicants, women’s self-help groups/organizations will also be able to apply for setting up custom hiring centers.
In the category in which the number of members is more in the group/organization, the group/organization will be considered in the general, scheduled, or tribe category accordingly.
Under the scheme, a person of a minimum of 18 years of age will be eligible to get a grant under this scheme. The age of the applicant should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years.
The minimum educational qualification of individual applicants will be required to be a 12th class pass.
Persons already working in government or semi-government services or getting benefits for employment from other government schemes will not be eligible under this scheme.
Under the scheme, there is a provision to give priority to agriculture, agricultural engineering, and horticulture graduates.
In the priority list, the cases of these applicants will be considered after giving priority to up to 30 percent of the targets set for the district to a maximum of 3 centers.
There is a provision to provide only one Custom Hiring Center to one village, one family, and one group/organization.
Applications should not be submitted for those villages where centers have been established earlier. The final decision regarding the villages will be taken by the concerned Agricultural Engineer’s office at the time of verification of records.
In the village where the center is to be set up, the applicant will be eligible for the application of the center in the village concerned only if he is a voter of that village or has land in that village in the name of himself or his parents.
No interest will be charged from the beneficiary by the bank on the amount of credit linked to the bank-ended subsidy.
In case of failure to pay the loan amount, the beneficiary will not get the benefit of the grant and the bank’s loan amount, which will include the grant amount and the interest due, will have to be paid back.
The recovery of the sanctioned loan will be done in a maximum of 9 years and the moratorium period will be a maximum of 6 months.
The sanctioned loan will not be refundable for a period of 4 years. The beneficiary will not be eligible for the grant if the bank loan is repaid by the beneficiary before this period.
In this situation, the amount of grant will have to be given by the bank to the government.
The machines/machines etc. purchased under the scheme cannot be sold/mortgaged or transferred by the beneficiary to any person/institution other than the bank given loan.
In case of violation of this, the grant of Cruise Controlmount will have to be returned with interest as per the rules of the government. In case the amount is not refunded, the entire amount can be recovered as land revenue.
The grant amount will be payable to the beneficiary only on the basis of the cost of machines/machines.
The applicant/beneficiary will have to make arrangements for the maintenance of machines/equipment, construction of shed and land as per requirement.
