Veejay Nakra, President – Farm Equipment Business, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., attributed the growth to favorable agricultural conditions.
“The industry posted growth in June 2025, primarily driven by cash flow from Rabi crop harvesting and widespread arrival of the monsoon across most regions,” he said. “With better long-term rainfall this month, land preparation activities are well supported for the upcoming Kharif season. Record foodgrain production, especially in rice, wheat, and pulses, along with government initiatives to improve farmer income, are expected to drive continued demand for tractors.”
