Mahindra Farm Equipment Sector, part of Mahindra Group has announced the tractor sales report for the December 2021 month.

Domestic Tractor Sale
The domestic sales in December 2021 were at 16,687 units, a decline of 21% YoY as against 21,173 units in the previous year of the same month while Exports stood at 1,582 units (up 27% YoY) as against 1244 units in December 2020.
Total Tractor Sale (Domestic+Export)
On the other hand, the company’s total tractor sale was 18,269 Units, a dip of 19% for December 2021 while the company has sold 22,417 units of tractors in the previous year of the December month.
On the performance of tractor sales growth, Hemant Sikka, President- stated that, There are various factors involved for the de-growth in december 2021, also the major factors include delayed in the high base of the last year and the heavy rainfall in some geographies.
Further he also said that, “We expect momentum to recover in the coming months on account of the good progress of Kharif procurement, bringing liquidity in the hands of farmers and Rabi acreage showing signs of growth over last year.”
