Mr. Hemant Sikka, President, Farm Equipment Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., had this to say about the company’s performance in March: “We have sold 32,582 tractors in the domestic market during March ‘25, a growth of 34% over last year. The tractor industry has been getting good momentum due to very favourable weather conditions, full reservoirs, good rabi crops, and beneficial trade terms for farmers. The harvest season is underway in the northern regions now, and excellent progress is expected throughout the entire country. In Q1 FY26, delivery momentum increased at the end of March due to festive activities. We expect this to continue next quarter on the back of a very good Rabi harvest and improved cash flow through farmers’ hands. In the export market, we sold 2,352 tractors, up 35% from last year”.
Hemant Sikka, President, Farm Equipment Sector of Mahindra & Mahindra, commented on company performance for F’25. “We have achieved our best-ever tractor sales in F25, up 12%. This is clearly driven by extraordinary retail sales enjoyed across the length and breadth of our great country and dealer channel inventory at its lowest ever.”
