If seen, these states may also have to face rain from today due to the cyclone. In Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur, Maharajganj, Kushinagar, Basti, Azamgarh, Balrampur, Shravasti, Ballia, etc., there is a possibility of light rain till May 14 due to cyclonic circulation. 

Let’s talk about the temperature in these states, then due to cyclonic storm Asani. The minimum temperature in these states can remain up to 28 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature can be up to 37 degrees Celsius.

Cyclone rises in the Bay of Bengal

According to the Meteorological Department, the effect of cyclonic storm Asani is most likely to be seen in the Bay of Bengal from today. 

This storm is also racing from Andhra-Odisha coasts towards West Central and North-West Bay of Bengal today. 

In this regard, meteorologists believe that this cyclonic storm is moving in a west-north-west direction at a speed of 12 km per hour during the last 6 hours. 

In view of the increasing threat of cyclones, the Meteorological Department has advised fishermen and ordinary people not to go near the shores till May 13 and IMD has also issued an alert on the shores of the coast.
