Escorts Kubota Posts 22% Growth in July 2026 Tractor Sales

Escorts Kubota Limited posted a strong performance in the month of July 2026, with total tractor sales increasing by 22% year-on-year to 8,731 units as against 7,154 units sold in the same month last year. Tractor sales in the country increased to 8,194 units, up 23.7% from 6,624 units in July 2025, while exports edged up to 537 units from 530 units.    The company attributed its strong performance to healthy demand in both the wholesale and retail markets. Escorts Kubota also said that improved rainfall in July and faster progress in Kharif sowing had helped rural sentiment, creating favourable conditions for tractor demand across key agricultural regions.

What Drove Escorts Kubota’s Strong July Performance?

The company said that demand for domestic tractors remained strong during the month as agricultural activities picked up pace with improved monsoon conditions. In many states, the pace of Kharif sowing picked up due to higher rainfall, which helped reduce the cumulative rain deficit.   Escorts Kubota said steady performance on wholesale dispatches and retail sales contributed to the double-digit growth posted in July. The firm expects agricultural activity and seasonal demand to continue to support the tractor market in the months ahead.

How Is Escorts Kubota Performing This Financial Year?

The company’s cumulative performance so far in the financial year also stayed positive. Escorts Kubota sold 45,593 tractors during the period between April and July FY27, as against 37,735 tractors during the same period last year, indicating a 20.8% growth on a year-on-year basis.

What Happens Next?

Escorts Kubota expects the rural demand to remain favourable due to the ongoing agricultural activities and seasonal buying picking up. Improved monsoon conditions, healthy sowing of crops and positive sentiment among farmers will support demand for tractors in the coming months, the company said.   The industry will also be looking at rural income trends and the upcoming festive season, when traditionally tractor purchases surge across India.

Conclusion

Escorts Kubota reported a healthy sales growth in July 2026. The company sold 8,731 total tractors during the month, driven by good domestic demand. In the first four months of FY27, the company continued to build positive momentum with the improvement of agricultural conditions and encouraging growth in the Indian market.
