CNH has announced the expansion of its India Technology Center alongside the inauguration of a groundbreaking Multi-Vehicle Simulator.
The Multi-Vehicle Simulator unveiled by CNH represents a pioneering advancement in off-highway vehicle simulation technology, marking the first of its kind in India’s segment.

CNH, a prominent figure in agricultural and construction solutions worldwide, disclosed the integration of an advanced Multi-Vehicle Simulator (MVS) into its India Technology Center (ITC).
The inaugural MVS in India’s off-highway sector, a pioneering initiative by CNH, will be integral to the company’s global endeavors. It will function as a vital platform for diverse activities such as ergonomics simulation, user experience assessments of controls, customer clinics, design evaluations for product development teams, product validation, and staff training.
During the inauguration, Friedrich Eichler, Chief Technology Officer at CNH, expressed, “The expansion and elevation of our India Technology Center (ITC) underscore our steadfast dedication to innovation, tapping into India’s abundant talent reservoir. He also emphasized, “This technological leap forward aligns with our sustainability objectives, aiding us in waste reduction and quality enhancement through virtual testing and evaluation of our products prior to prototype development or real-world testing.”
The Simulator comes equipped with state-of-the-art features including body tracking sensors, virtual reality headsets, multiple display screens, video and audio conference capture and playback systems, relevant software, software-hardware integration, and an adjustable frame designed to mimic different cab setups.
Ashish Sharma, Vice President and Managing Director of the ITC at CNH, commented, “The introduction of the new Multi-Vehicle Simulator marks a significant stride in our R&D capabilities at the ITC. Additionally, the company revealed an expansion of the ITC, featuring a new floor spanning 32,000 square feet. This area is furnished with state-of-the-art amenities, comprising three R&D labs and collaborative workspaces. The contemporary design and cutting-edge technology integrated into this new facility aim to elevate the working environment and foster greater productivity among the teams.
Founded in 2021, the ITC assumes a strategic position in fostering collaborative endeavors with its sister R&D centers globally, aiming to innovate and harness cutting-edge technology and the digital ecosystem in India. This concerted effort enhances efficiency to deliver customer benefits. The center spearheads the development of pioneering technologies such as software, embedded electronics, and data analytics, catering to both CNH’s India operations and its global product range.
