Retail tractor sales in India saw a jump in July 2026. They went up by 28.10% compared to July 2025. This means that 1,17,349 tractors were sold over the country. The Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations says that this is an increase from the 91,604 tractors that were sold in July 2025.
Sales also went up by 12.10% compared to June 2026.
So What Made Retail Tractor Sales Go Up Much in July 2026?
The main reason is that the monsoon rainfall was good this year. This helped farmers a lot. They were able to sow their crops on time. As a result they had money to spend on new tractors.
Big tractor companies like Mahindra and Mahindra, Swaraj and International Tractors saw an increase in sales.
