बजेट २०१९: किसानों के लिए क्या ? Budget 2019 and farmer – Khetigaadi, Agriculture, Tractor Its budget time and let’s understand what government has announced for farmers. As we all are aware in our country approximately there are around 70 to 80% marginal farmers. Which means farmers having land from one to 5 acres. With the interim budget announced by central government farmers will get income support of RS. 6000 per year which will be directly deposited in their bank account in three installments. As we know that there are various natural calamities due to which farmers are affected and hence this support from the government. Under this scheme PM kisan government has allocated 75000 crore for year 2019 and 20000 cr for 2018. It is estimated that 12 crore marginal farmers will benefit from this PM Kisan scheme. At the same there are few interesting aspects at state level for example Telangana’s Rhaytu Badhu scheme supports farmers with 8000 per year in two instalments and Odisha’s kalia scheme supports with Rs. 12500 per family plus 0 interest crop loan upto 50k. Further, all farmers severly affected with natural calamities to get 2% interest subvention and additional 3percent interest subvention upon timely repayment Government has also allocated 750 cores under Rashtriya Gokul Mission for the current year to conserve and develop indigenous breeds of cows. At the same time government will establish dedicated separate department for Fisheries There is also good news for farmers engaged in animal husbandry and fisheries who will get 2% interest subvention on loans availed through the Kisan Credit Card (KCC) scheme. Big Budget number! Rs 60,000 crore set aside for MGNREGA this year In a Budget that comes before the general elections, Interim Finance Minister Piyush Goyal has allocated Rs 60,000 crore for a key scheme aimed at the rural poor, NREGS. He allocated Rs 60,000 core to the scheme in 2019-20. For fiscal year 2018-19, NREGS was allocated Rs 55,000 crore.
