1 June 2025: VST has released data for May 2025 sales, indicating a good performance for its power tiller line. But there was a marginal fall in the sale of tractors in July 2018 in comparison with July 2017.
Overall, the firm sold 3,486 units in May 2025, a 40.90% increase over 2,474 units sold in May 2024.
There were 3,047 power tillers sold in May 2025, up 54.05% from 1,978 units in the same month last year. However, the company’s tractor sales in India fell a bit. VST Tillers Tractor Sales Data Summary Here is the breakup of the combine sales of VST tillers tractors in each state of India.
Year-to-day sales of the current period also indicate a robust growth in power tillers but a decrease in tractors when compared to the same period last year. It sold 5,050 power tillers this year, an increase of 70.55% compared to 2,961 units sold in the same period last year. Tractor sales were at a bright spot, recording a generally strong 7.39% rise to 756 units this year, as against the 704 units sold last year.
On an overall basis, total sales grew by 58.41 per cent to 5,806 units from 3,665 units in the year-ago period.
