Faridabad, 1 June 2025: Escorts Kubota Limited, Agri Machinery Business Division, announced May 2025 sales numbers for its tractors. The EKL dispatched 10,354 tractors, compared to 10,286 tractors for the same month last year. That represents a 0.7% gain in tractor sales.
However, domestic tractor sales dropped 2% to 9703 units as against 9906 units in the year-ago month. Meanwhile, export sales continue to soar, from 380 units to 651 (up 71.3%).
The arrival of monsoon rains on time this year has buoyed spirits in the field, the company said. As per routine, preparations for the Kharif season are in the works. Going forward, the company anticipates this positive momentum to sustain, driven by above-average monsoon forecasts, comfortable reservoir levels, and enhanced liquidity in rural markets.

KUBOTA Escort’s tractor sales report (April–May FY26)
Escorts Kubota Limited sold 19,083 tractors in the first two months of FY26. This is a tad less than the 19,125 units sold in the same period in FY25. The total decline is 0.2%.
In FY26, the company sold 17,851 units in the domestic market as against 18,398 units in FY25. This is 3.0% lower than the demand for a domestic clip.
Meanwhile, export sales jumped. The company shipped 1,232 tractors in April–May FY26 compared to 727 units in FY25. An impressive growth rate of 69.5%.
