India’s tractor industry witnessed a robust growth of 10.96% year-on-year in July 2025, with total sales reaching 88,722 units compared to 79,961 units in July 2024, reflecting strong demand across both major and regional players.

Tractor Sales Performance Brand-wise – July 2025
Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Tractor Division) retained its top position, recording sales of 20,610 units, up from 18,436 units last year, securing a 23.23% market share. Its Swaraj Division contributed 16,725 units, marking a slight increase from 16,267 units, with a 18.85% market share.
International Tractors Ltd., the maker of Sonalika tractors, continued its strong performance with 12,536 units sold in July 2025, rising from 11,147 units in July 2024, achieving a 14.13% market share.
TAFE Ltd., known for the Massey Ferguson brand, reported impressive growth with 9,649 units, a significant jump from 7,871 units, increasing its share to 10.88%.
Escorts Kubota Ltd. (Agri Machinery Group) registered 9,196 units, compared to 8,273 units in the same month last year, holding a 10.36% market share.
Other notable performers include:
- John Deere India: 7,027 units (7.92% share)
- Eicher Tractors: 6,166 units (6.95% share)
- CNH Industrial: 3,872 units (4.36% share)
Meanwhile, Kubota Agricultural Machinery India saw a decline, selling 569 units in July 2025 compared to 1,462 units last year, dropping to 0.64% market share.
