मध्य प्रदेश सरकार शिवराज सिंह चौहान द्वारा पिछले साल किसान सम्मान निधि के तहत किसानों को 4000 रुपए बढ़ाने का एलान किया गया था किसान सम्मान निधि नरेंद्र मोदी सरकार द्वारा किसानों को किसान सम्मान निधि के तौर पर 6000 रुपए दिया जाता है जिससे बजट में सालाना 10,000 राशि देने का प्रस्ताव रखा गया हैं ।

शिवराज सरकार किसानों को सम्मान निधि के तौर पर 10000 रुपए देने की योजना को एक साल के लिए बढ़ाने पर विचार कर रही है। यह मध्य प्रदेश के लाखों किसानों के लिए खुशख़बरी है।
हालांकि इसका एलान 2 मार्च को पेश होने वाले बजट में किये जाने की उम्मीद है ।
इसके साथ ही शिवराज सरकार किसानों को योजना के तहत बिना ब्याज पर शॉर्ट टर्म लोन पर निरंतर करने का विचार कर रही है जिससे किसानों को लाभ होगा ।
मध्य प्रदेश सरकार ने पिछले साल यह फैसला लिया था कि किसानों को 4000 रूपए जो कि 6000 रुपए पहले से ही किसान सम्मान निधि के तौर पर दिए जाते थे जो सालाना राशि १०००० रुपए थी ।
इस योजना के तहत ८० लाख किसानों को अपनी पकड़ मजबूत बनाने की उम्मीद है ।
