Know, at what rate the purchase will be done on MSP and what will be the arrangement: The work of harvesting Rabi crops is going on in the country and in many states, the work of procurement of crops from farmers at minimum support price has also started.

The state governments have also made proper arrangements in the mandis to buy the produce from the farmers at MSP. In this sequence, the Haryana Government has announced the dates for the purchase of Rabi crops from the farmers.

According to this, the procurement of wheat, gram, and barley in the state will start from April 1. Whereas the procurement of mustard has started from 22 March itself. Giving information in this regard, the spokesperson told the media that as per the decision of the Government of India, the wheat procurement period would be from 1st April 2022 to 15th May 2022.

The procurement of gram and barley will also start from April 1, 2022, and the procurement of mustard has started. Now 539 procurement centers have been set up in the state for government procurement of wheat, gram, mustard, and barley. Out of this, 410 procurement centers have been set up for procurement of wheat at a minimum support price. 

11 procurement centers have been set up for gram. Similarly, 25 procurement centers have been set up for barley. At the same time, 93 procurement centers have been opened for mustard.

These parameters will have to be followed for selling the produce: The parameters of Rabi crops have been kept by the Government of India for the Rabi procurement season year 2021-22. All necessary arrangements for procurement will be made before the start of the season. The rules regarding moisture and its quality in wheat are also the same.

Similarly, the norms for mustard and other crops which were there in the last rabi procurement season have been kept the same. So farmers need not worry. Please tell me that farmers registered on Meri Fasal Mera Byora will be able to sell their crops at MSP at their procurement centers. On the other hand, the farmers who have not yet registered on Meri Fasal Mera Byora Portal will not be able to sell the crop on MSP.

Purchase on Minimum Support Price: Wheat will be procured in 410 agricultural produce markets: Keeping in mind the interests of the farmers, Haryana Government has decided to purchase wheat in 410 mandis this time. 

Wheat procurement will be started across the state from April 1. Farmers should not face any problem in selling wheat crops in the mandi, so the number of mandis has been kept more. 

With this, farmers will be able to easily sell their crops by going to the procurement center near them.

Minimum Support Price: In which district, how many purchase centers should be made: Mandis and procurement centers have been allotted by the state government for procurement agencies for wheat procurement. According to this, 64 mandis have been set up for wheat procurement in Sirsa district. 

Similarly, 51 in Fatehabad, 41 in Kaithal, 35 in Jind, 29 in Hisar, 24 in Sonipat, 23-23 in Karnal-Kurukshetra, 15 in Ambala, 13-13 in Palwal-Yamunanagar, 12 in Panipat, 11 in Bhiwani, Jhajjar Wheat will be procured in 10-10 mandis in Rohtak, 8 in Dadri, 6-6 in Faridabad and Mahendragarh, 5-5 in Gurugram and Nuh, 3-3 in Panchkula and Rewari.

Procurement of produce will be done on MSP from farmers even on Sunday: The Deputy Chief Minister of the state has informed that it has been decided to open the regional offices/mandis on Sundays as well. 

The agency which has been allotted Saturday for procurement, the same agency will procure wheat on Sunday as well. At what price will the government buy wheat, gram, and mustard: Minimum Support Prices are declared by the Central Government for every Rabi and Kharif season. 

Even before the sowing of Rabi crops, Minimum Support Prices have been announced for various Rabi crops, on which the government procurement of these crops will be done in all the states. 

The minimum support prices of wheat, gram, mustard, and barley for this year 2022-23 are as follows-

  • The Minimum Support Price (MSP) of wheat has been kept at Rs 2015 per quintal.
  • The minimum support price of gram is Rs 5230 per quintal.
  • The minimum support price of mustard will be Rs 5050 per quintal.
  • The minimum support price of barley is Rs 1635 per quintal.

Farmers will benefit from selling wheat and mustard in the open market: Above we have given you the list of the support price of crops i.e. MSP fixed by the central government for this Rabi season. 

But let us tell you that this year the price of wheat and mustard in the market is running more than the minimum support price fixed by the government. In such a situation, it would be better for the farmers to sell wheat in the open market. 

Even after registering to sell wheat at the minimum support price, farmers can sell their produce directly to the traders if they want, if they get a good price.

What is going on in the market the latest price of wheat and mustard:

  • In Rajasthan’s Alwar Mandi price, wheat is running at Rs-2050/2075 per quintal and mustard condition at Rs-6550 per quintal.
  • In the Bikaner grain market, the price of mustard is running from Rs 5800 to Rs 6300 per quintal.
  • Ellenabad Mandi mustard price of Haryana is running at Rs 5700-6450 per quintal.
  • In the Sirsa grain market,will start from April 1 the rate of mustard was recorded at Rs 5800-6301 per quintal.
  • The price of mustard was Rs 6000-6440 per quintal in Adampur grain market.
  • Mustard in Satna Mandi (Madhya Pradesh) was Rs 6100-6500 per quintal.
  • The price of wheat in Jabalpur Mandi was -2050/2080+50. At the same time, the price of mustard / rye – 4500 / 6100 per quintal was Rs.
