Mahindra & Mahindra has released its Tractor Sales Report for March 2024. In the domestic market, the company sold 24,276 units compared to 33,622 units in March 2023, marking a 28% decline in domestic tractor sales for 2024. Conversely, in the export market, Mahindra’s Tractor Sales Report for March 2024 indicates a 26% increase, with 1,748 units sold compared to 1,392 units sold in March 2023.
Mahindra‘s overall tractor sales decreased by 26% to 26,024 units in March 2024 from 35,014 units in the same month the previous year.

Mahindra & Mahindra has also released Year-to-Date (YTD) April to March Tractor sales figures for 2024. The company sold 364,526 units in 2024 compared to 389,531 units in 2023 in the domestic market, indicating a 6% drop in domestic tractor sales for 2024. On the other hand, in the export market, Mahindra’s YTD Tractor Sales Report for 2023 shows a 23% decline. Export sales were 13,860 units in 2024 compared to 18,014 units in 2023.
Mahindra‘s total tractor sales reached 378,386 units in Year to Date 2024, down from 407,545 units in Year to Date 2023, indicating a sales decline of 7%.

Hemant Sikka, President of the Farm Equipment Sector at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., commented on the performance, stating, “In March 2024, we achieved sales of 24,276 tractors in the domestic market. It is expected that farmers will feel more upbeat as a result of the government’s recent revelation that advance estimates for horticulture production have climbed and Rabi wheat output has grown over the previous year. Additionally, the forecast of a normal South-West monsoon this year is expected to further bolster tractor demand in the upcoming months. IWe sold 1,748 tractors in the export market, which is a 26% increase over the previous year.”
