Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Sector sold 38516 tractors in India during April 2025
Mumbai, May 01, 2025: Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.’s Farm Equipment Sector (FES), a part of the USD 19.4 billion Mahindra Group, announced its tractor sales numbers for April 2025. The automaker reported domestic sales of 38,516 units in April 2025, compared to 35,805 units in April 2024. Tractor sales: Total tractor sales (domestic + exports) during April 2025 were at 40054 units against 37039 units for the same period last year. For the month, the exports would be 1538 units.

Commenting on the performance, Hemant Sikka, President – Farm Equipment Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., said, “Our domestic sales for April 2025 at 38,516 tractors have increased by 8% over last year. The vintage is progressing nicely and will end soon. Riding on the Chaitra Navratri in the first week of April, retail momentum is very positive. This is corroborated by good crop prices and strong procurement at mandis, which has resulted in comfortable cash flows for farmers. IMD forecasting an above-normal southwest monsoon is extremely positive for the agri-economy in general and the tractor industry in particular. Still, the financing was robust. On the exports front, we have sold 1538 tractors, which is 25% compared to last year.”
