The Mahindra Group’s Farm Equipment Sector (FES), a division of Mahindra & Mahindra, has released its November 2022 tractor sales figures. With sales of 29,180 tractors in November 2022 compared to 26,094 units in November 2021, Mahindra FES saw a 12% increase in the domestic market. Total domestic sales of tractors for the business.
Hemant Sikka, President of Mahindra & Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Sector, highlighted the performance by stating, “We have sold 29,180 tractors in the domestic market during November 2022, a growth of 12% over previous year. Due to the rapid seeding of Rabi crops, which is anticipated to surpass last year’s record sowing of 70 million hectares and is supported by good soil moisture content and healthy reservoir levels, demand continued to be robust in the post-festival period.
“The procurement of Kharif crops has advanced successfully, providing farmers with liquidity, and this augurs very favorably for the expansion of the tractor business. We have sold 1,348 tractors in the exports market, Sikka continued.
