In all these pack houses, the litchi of the farmers will be packed and sent abroad.

Officials of the Parks Department said that this project has been started under Horticulture Mission. Its aim is to promote exports and bring more profit to farmers. 4 lakhs to set up a processing unit. The government is giving subsidies up to 50 percent on this. Cold storage and pack houses were said to have been opened in Muzaffarpur’s Manika, Sarchian, Badgaon, Ganj Bazar, and Anandpur to prevent spoilage of litchi. They will be launched on May 19.
