Escorts Kubota Launches New MU Series Tractors With 8-Year Transferable Warranty

Escorts Kubota Limited has introduced the MU4502 and MU5002 tractors in India. The new models produce 45 HP and 50 HP, respectively, and strengthen the company’s premium utility tractor portfolio in the 41–50 HP category.

Both tractors come with an industry-first 8-year transferable warranty. The warranty remains with the tractor even if ownership changes, offering long-term assurance and supporting resale value.

What do the MU4502 and MU5002 offer?

The MU4502 and MU5002 are powered by Kubota’s proven KQP4 Japanese engine. They feature a 12F + 4R multi-speed synchromesh gearbox. This setup gives farmers more speed choices for different operations.

The tractors are also equipped with Pompa Lift with DSS (Dual Stabiliser Spring) Technology. It helps keep implements stable and maintains a consistent working depth, including on uneven land.

Both models are 4WD tractors designed for multiple farm applications. They can work with primary and secondary tillage implements such as super seeders, seed drills, potato planters, mini round balers and cultivators.

Why is the 8-year transferable warranty important?

The 8-year transferable warranty is something that sets the Kubota models apart. Escorts Kubota says that this warranty shows how much they believe in the quality of their tractors and how long they will last.

When someone sells their tractor, the 8-year transferable warranty goes with it. This means that the person who buys the tractor can feel more confident about their purchase. It may also help the tractor keep its value over time.

Rajan Chugh, who is the Chief Officer of the Tractor Division, said that the company is not just thinking about how powerful the tractors. He said they want to help people make money with their tractors, which’s what he calls “earning power”. The 8-year transferable warranty is designed to help people who own the Kubota tractors for a time so they can get the most value out of the 8-year transferable warranty and the tractor itself.

Comfort and design features

The MU4502 and MU5002 feature Kubota’s global design language, inspired by the strength and agility of a bull. Both models receive full LED lighting for improved visibility and a premium appearance.

For long working hours, the tractors offer a fully covered flat-deck platform, premium bucket seat and suspended pedals. They also feature double-acting power steering and ergonomically positioned controls.

In addition, balancer shaft technology helps reduce vibration. These features are aimed at improving operator comfort during extended farm operations.

Where can farmers use these tractors?

The new models are designed as multi-utility tractors for different crops and applications. They can be used for crops including paddy, wheat, maize, pulses and soybeans.

Furthermore, the tractors can handle haulage and commercial operations. A reverse PTO supports specialised applications, including rotavators and straw reapers.

Escorts Kubota said the tractors are suitable for landholdings of 5 acres and above. The company has launched both models as a pan-India offering.

What does the new launch mean for Kubota’s portfolio?

The new models make the Kubota utility tractor range in India even better. Now the MU series has the MU4201, MU4501, MU4502, MU5002 and MU5502.

Escorts Kubota operates three tractor brands across India. These are Farmtrac, Powertrac and Kubota. Each brand is for a kind of customer. Farmtrac is for people who want a tractor at a low price. Powertrac is for people who want a lot of value for their money. Kubota is for people who want the best.

Nikhil Nanda, who is the Chairman and Managing Director of Escorts Kubota Limited, talked about the tractor market. He said that tractors with 41 to 50 horsepower are really popular in India.

He also said that the new Kubota models are for farmers who want the best, people who already own a tractor and want to upgrade to a Kubota and businesses that use tractors to farm land for people. The new Kubota models are also for people who rent out their tractors to others.

What did Escorts Kubota executives say?

Akira Kato, Deputy Managing Director, Escorts Kubota Limited, said the MU4502 and MU5002 combine Japanese engineering with features designed for performance and durability.

He highlighted the KQP4 engine, 12F + 4R multi-speed synchromesh gearbox and pump lift with DSS technology. According to Kato, these features are designed to support dependable performance and help keep running costs low.

Rajan Chugh said the 4WD tractors can help farmers complete more work in less time and explore custom hiring as an additional income opportunity.

With the new MU4502 and MU5002, Escorts Kubota is strengthening its presence in the premium 41–50 HP tractor segment. The 8-year transferable warranty, multi-speed gearbox, 4WD capability and multi-application performance are among the major highlights of the launch.
