FMC, a global leader in agricultural solutions, recently launched Ambriva herbicide, a new weed management tool for wheat farmers, especially ahead of the upcoming Rabi season. The launch event took place in Chandigarh, focusing on helping Indian wheat farmers tackle persistent weed problems.
Ambriva contains a new active ingredient called Isoflex, a Group 13 herbicide. This weed has developed resistance to many herbicides, impacting crop productivity and leaving farmers with fewer options. FMC’s Ambriva offers a new solution to combat these challenges,” he said.

Phalaris minor is one of the biggest threats, particularly because it has shown resistance to multiple herbicide types.
