After february 11 The All India Kisan Sabha (AIKS) has decided the agitation against the farm laws of the centre. AIKS President and Central Committee Member Ashok Dhawale said that in Maharashtra also the farmers’ Kisan Mahapanchayat will be conducted.

Some of the areas covered under Maharashtra where proper Kisan Mahapanchayat are to be conducted are Thane, Nashik, Palghar, Ahmednagar and other districts as well.
The session will be held in the presence of local farmer representatives rather than to be held on a concurrent basis.
Earlier also, for a kisan Mahapanchayat thousand of farmers had gathered in the Shamli district of Western Uttar Pradesh.
The Member also stated that A resolution will be passed opposing the three anti-farmer laws of Modi Government at the major gatherings.
For the introduction of the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for agricultural goods should be pursued and the new regulations should be introduced.
To increase the boycott of goods and services the proposal has been given by Reliance Industries Ltd and Adani Group.
The AIKS’ would not be the only domain of Kisan Mahapanchayat, it would also be included as the part of the meeting between the parts of the society opposed to farm laws.
Such meetings will be close like the meeting held at Azad Maidan in Mumbai on 25 January.
A resolution will also be passed demanding the release of 112 farmers in separate jails for protesting against the farm laws. In the discussions, Farmers’ local concerns will also be taken. For the remunerative procurement of farm products, a new law is essential for the Maharashtra state.
