According to the farmer’s leaders on the budget session, the government withdraws support to agriculture. With respect to this farmer, leaders have announced to block National highways across the country on February 6 in support of their demands.

Bharatiya Kisan Union, Balbir Singh Rajewal addressed a Joint Press Conference by the Samyukt Kisan Morcha and accused the government of suspending internet services, snapping the power and water supply at the three sites.

Mr. Rajewal stated that “ “It has, therefore, been decided to block highways for three hours on February 6 in the afternoon in protest against the repressive measures of the government.

The other leader of Krantikari Kisan Union’s Punjab Unit President, Darshan Pal said that a list of arrested122 people is given by the government and a leading committee had already been set up to meet them at Jails. In Rohtak, two trains were suspended, while Firozpur Punjab mail was diverted. This causes a major inconvenience to hundreds of farmers to protest sites.
On the three protest sites Ghazipur, Singhu, and Tikri, the Ministry of Home affairs extended the suspension of the Internet till 11 p.m. on February 2 after the protest plan by the farmers.
