Brand-wise sales details:
Mahindra & Mahindra: Sold 24,289 tractors in December 2024, a 30.68% increase from 18,586 units in December 2023. The company’s market share rose by 0.92%.
Swaraj Division (Mahindra & Mahindra): Recorded sales of 18,226 units in December 2024, up 26.71% from 14,384 units in December 2023. Market share increased by 0.14%.
International Tractors Limited (Sonalika): Sold 12,766 units in December 2024, a 12.48% rise from 11,350 units in December 2023. However, market share declined by 1.52%.
TAFE Limited: Achieved sales of 11,555 units in December 2024, marking a 43.38% increase from 8,059 units in December 2023. Market share grew by 1.43%.
Escorts Kubota Limited: Sold 9,252 tractors in December 2024, a 13.38% increase from 8,160 units in December 2023. Despite this, market share decreased by 1.02%.
Eicher Tractors: Reported sales of 6,971 units in December 2024, up 23.47% from 5,646 units in December 2023. Market share saw a slight decline of 0.13%.
John Deere India Pvt Ltd: Sold 6,351 units in December 2024, a 21.46% increase from 5,229 units in December 2023. Market share decreased by 0.22%.
CNH Industrial (India) Pvt Ltd (New Holland): Achieved sales of 4,054 units in December 2024, up 20.73% from 3,358 units in December 2023. Market share declined by 0.17%.
Kubota Agricultural Machinery India Pvt. Ltd.: Recorded sales of 1,488 units in December 2024, a 2.30% decrease from 1,523 units in December 2023. Market share also fell by 0.43%.
Other Brands: Collectively sold 4,340 units in December 2024, a significant 63.84% increase from 2,649 units in December 2023. Their combined market share rose by 1.01%.
Overall, December 2024 witnessed a substantial increase in tractor sales across India, with most major brands experiencing positive growth.
