According to the instructions of the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India and the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi, farmer participation under the Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi is our program on 26.04.2022 in collaboration with Krishi Vigyan Kendra and Atma in collaboration with Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Neemuch Campus, Fair was organized.

The program was presided over by Honorable Dilip Singh Parihar, MLA Neemuch, and chief hospitality by Honorable Anirudh Madhav Maru, MLA Manasa, and Honorable District Panchayat President Avantika Mehar Singh Jat. Virendra Patidar, MP Representative, Arjan Mali, Representative Honorable Minister, MSME, Dinesh Parihar, Agriculture Standing Committee President, and Guruprasad, Chief Executive Officer were on the stage as special guests.

A total of 412 farmers participated in the program. The program started with Saraswati Puja and the welcome of the guests. 

The Principal Scientist and Head of the Center, Dr. CP Pachauri, while giving the welcome address, highlighted the introduction and purpose of our program, farmer participation priority. 

The virtual inauguration of this Kisan Mela was organized by the Hon’ble Agriculture Minister, Government of India Narendra Singh Tomar in all the districts of the country, and the live telecast of the address to the farmers was shown to the farmers present through the link.

Hon’ble Shri Dilip Singh Parihar in his remarks called upon the farmers of the district to take interest in natural farming and take advantage of all departmental schemes. 

He thanked the Hon’ble Chief Minister for increasing the area under irrigation in the Neemuch district to the State Government.

Honorable Arirudha Madhav Maru asked the farmers to learn the latest techniques of agriculture from the center in addition to traditional farming, focus on natural farming and the cultivation of biofortified crops and coarse cereals, and stressed taking technical advice from Krishi Vigyan Kendra.

Avantika Meher Singh Jat, District Panchayat President appealed to conduct soil testing for the strong role of women in agriculture and to increase production. 

In the program, MP representative Virendra Patidar and Honorable Minister MSME representative Arjun Mali also addressed the farmers.

In the technical session, Scientist of the Center Dr. s. Sarangdevot, Dr. Shilpi Verma, and Dr. J. P. Singh delivered lectures on techniques of natural farming, food grains, oilseeds, and biofortified crop production. Sanyukta Pandey helped in showing films made on new technologies.

In the program, citations were distributed to the progressive entrepreneur farmers who were training and innovating from the center.

The center of special attraction at the fair was the exhibition organized by various departments like Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Agriculture, Spirit, Horticulture, Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and other subjects on natural farming by self-help groups, which were observed by the farmers and guests. 

The program was conducted by Dr. PS Naruka and gratitude was performed by Dr. CP Pachauri. Agriculture, soul, and departmental officers had special cooperation in making the program a success.
