New Delhi, 24th November 2025: India’s No. 1 tractor export brand, Sonalika Tractors has taken a decisive leap in accelerating India’s transition sustainability and green mobility at the 16th Agrovision 2025 – India’s Premier Agri Summit in Nagpur, Maharashtra. In the august presence of Shri Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways and Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare – Govt. of India, Sonalika has unveiled its new CNG fuel (Compressed Natural Gas) / CBG fuel (Compressed Bio-Gas) tractor. This landmark introduction is closely aligned with the Government of India’s SATAT and GobarDHAN programs that aim to strengthen the nation’s clean energy ecosystem. With the new unveil, Sonalika has stepped up its commitment to build future-ready tractors that blend Sonalika’s legendary power and environment friendly innovation to deliver heavy duty performance.
The all-new Sonalika’s CNG/CBG tractor is engineered especially for heavy-duty haulage, where torque, durability, as well as fuel efficiency play a crucial role. It gets a powerful yet fuel efficient engine with 2000 rated RPM, 12+3 constant mesh transmission with side shift gear system along with 14.9×28 rear tyre to deliver effective haulage performance. It also gets 40 kg fuel capacity (14KG+ 27 KG), thereby reducing challenges related to refuelling intervals. At Agrovision 2025, Sonalika also showcased a robust tractor + trolley system, developed to deliver higher operational efficiency and leverage the rapidly expanding CNG fuelling infrastructure in rural India.
