7 July 2025: India’s tractor retail market witnessed a healthy 8.68% year-on-year growth in June 2025, with total retail sales rising to 77,214 units, compared to 71,047 units in June 2024, as per industry registration data.

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Tractor Division) retained its top spot with 17,518 units sold, commanding a 22.69% market share. While slightly down from 22.99% in June 2024, but we can see more no of units sold than June 2024.it remained the market leader by volume.
Swaraj Tractors, a division of Mahindra, followed with 14,286 units, holding an 18.50% share — marginally lower than last year’s 18.72%. International Tractors Ltd. (Sonalika) came in third, selling 10,136 units with a 13.13% market share, showing slight growth from the previous year.
TAFE Ltd. also reported an increase in retail sales, reaching 9,804 units (12.70% share), up from 8,649 units a year ago. Escorts Kubota Ltd. (Agri Machinery Group) saw its share grow to 10.93% with 8,443 units, compared to 7,545 units and a 10.62% share in June 2024.
John Deere India, Eicher Tractors, and CNH Industrial also maintained strong positions, with all three companies recording year-on-year growth. Notably, Kubota Agricultural Machinery India saw a significant drop, selling 635 units in June 2025, down from 1,223 units last year.
