Mumbai, India—January 29, 2025: Manthan 2025— The Global Dialogue for Nation-Building (19) concluded at Imaginarium, Awas, Alibaug, Maharashtra, marking yet another landmark platform for the world’s leading changemakers, thought leaders, and innovators. The Wellbeing Summit hosted by Global Vikas Trust discussed ideas on creating solutions to India’s developmental challenges with special emphasis on rural prosperity, climate action, innovative resource management, youth leadership, and impactful partnerships.

Sushil Jiwarajka, Chairperson of the Advisory Board, Manthan 2025 employed an invaluable platform for rigorous dialogue on the future of India’s development journey and how various sectors could benefit from collaborative collaboration for an all-inclusive growth model. The summit was the starting point to chart how India can capitalize on its strengths, address the challenges that lie ahead, and create a just and sustainable future for all citizens of the country.

The opening session, Framing the National Challenge—Rural Prosperity and Climate Crisis, set the tone with a panel discussion, chaired by Sushil Jiwarajka, featuring Rajendra Singh, Satya Tripathi, and Raamdeo Agrawal. Panelists discussed the rural prosperity and climate nexus, illustrating how rural sectors can grow the country while mitigating and adapting to the impacts of climate change in the process.

- From Soil to Harvest: Sustainable Agricultural Practices (Nandkishore Kagliwal, Chairman & Managing Director, Nath Industries Ltd): Methodologies to address sustainable agriculture practices for balanced growth and productivity in India’s food security.
- Die With Zero (Hosted by Amitabh Jaipuria, founder and CEO—Accelerate Indian Philanthropy): A session with a philosophical flavor, it prompted attendees to rethink wealth and legacy and on getting the most out of experiences and contributing to the social good.
- Forward Linkages (Vivek Bharti, Executive Director—Corporate Affairs, PepsiCo India): Innovative distribution models and technology-enabled access to the market for farmers.
- Climate Challenge & Role of India (by Satya Tripathi, Secretary General of the Global Alliance for Sustainable Planet): The session reflected on how India can emerge as a leader in the areas of sustainable development, green technologies, and climate-smart agriculture.
- The Young Will Inherit the World (Chaired by Vivek Bhargava, Co-founder—Consumer.ai): A Train the Trainer Session on Youth Contribution to Rural Development and Climate Action:
- Climate Finance (Satya Tripathi, General Secretary, Global Alliance for Sustainable Planet): An urgent dialogue on innovative financing mechanisms and logistical partnerships to generate global investment on the ground.
- The summit concluded with two touching sessions: The Way Forward by Vallabh Bhansali, Chairman—Enam Group, and Free Flowing Interactions & Conclusions by Mayank Gandhi, Managing Trustee—Global Vikas Trust; Sushil Jiwarajka, Chairperson of Advisory Board—Global Vikas Trust; Ex-chairman FICCI; Hon. Consul General of Greece (Western India); Vallabh Bhansali, Chairman—Enam Group; Satya Tripathi, General Secretary, Global Alliance for Sustainable Planet; and Raamdeo Agrawal, Co-founder and Chairman—Motilal Oswal Financial Services Limited. The conversations provided an opportunity for the delegates to share highlights from the summit and for everyone to express (new) commitments to nation-building.
- The event concluded with a soulful rendition of the National Anthem, signifying the commitment of all to the cause of creating a clean, green, sustainable, equitable, and resilient future in India.
