FADA Tractor Sales Report 2024 – Brand-Wise Analysis
In October 2024, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd (Tractor) achieved sales of 14,792 units, marking a 4.33% growth from the 14,178 units sold in October 2023. This led to a slight increase in their market share, rising from 22.68% in 2023 to 22.96% in 2024, up by 0.28%.
Swaraj recorded sales of 11,227 units in October 2024, up from 11,065 units in the previous year, a growth of 1.46%. However, its market share experienced a slight decline, moving from 17.70% in 2023 to 17.42% in 2024, a decrease of 0.28%.
Similarly, TAFE Limited reported sales of 8,767 units in October 2024, just above the 8,684 units sold in October 2023, reflecting a 0.96% increase. Their market share also dipped slightly, from 13.89% last year to 13.61% this year, a reduction of 0.28%.
In October 2024, International Tractors Ltd reported sales of 7,983 units, up from 7,713 units in October 2023, marking a 3.50% increase. The company’s market share also rose slightly, moving from 12.34% in October 2023 to 12.39% in October 2024, an improvement of 0.05%. This steady growth reflects the company’s positive trajectory in both sales and market presence.
Conversely, Escorts Kubota Limited (Agri Machinery Group) sold 6,043 tractors in October 2024, a 3.57% decline from the 6,267 units sold in the same month the previous year. Their market share decreased, falling from 10.03% in October 2023 to 9.38% in October 2024, a drop of 0.65%.
In October 2024, John Deere India Pvt Ltd (Tractor Division) achieved notable growth, selling 5,884 tractors compared to 4,558 units in October 2023—a 29.9% increase. The company’s market share also rose from 7.29% last year to 9.13% this year, marking a gain of 1.84%.
Eicher Tractors, however, saw a decline with 3,691 units sold in October 2024, down from 4,268 units in October 2023, a decrease of 13.52%. This drop was reflected in their market share, which fell from 6.83% to 5.73%, a reduction of 1.10%.
CNH Industrial (India) Pvt Ltd showed steady progress, selling 2,596 units in October 2024, up from 2,481 units in the previous year, a growth of 4.64%. The company’s market share saw a slight increase, rising from 3.97% to 4.03%, reflecting a gain of 0.06%.
Kubota Agricultural Machinery India Pvt Ltd reported a positive increase of 6.32% in sales, reaching 1,161 units and enhancing their market share by 0.05%.
Lastly, the “other” category saw strong results with 2,289 units sold in October 2024, up from 2,201 units in October 2023, reflecting a growth of 4.00%. Their market share rose slightly from 3.52% to 3.55%, an increase of 0.03%, indicating improved performance in this segment.
