Mahindra Launches First-Ever Compressed Bio-Gas (CBG) Powered Yuvo Tech+ Tractor in New Delhi
Mahindra Tractors has introduced its inaugural Compressed Bio-Gas (CBG) powered Yuvo Tech+ tractor in New Delhi, with Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport and Highways, in attendance. Unlike Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), which is derived from fossil fuels, CBG is a renewable fuel sourced from biodegradable materials such as farm waste and food scraps. This makes CBG a more sustainable option, aimed at reducing reliance on fossil fuels and cutting greenhouse gas emissions.
Mahindra’s new Yuvo Tech+ CBG tractor is engineered to offer performance and power on par with traditional diesel models, making it ideal for various farming and haulage applications. The tractor complies with stringent Indian standards, ensuring both reliability and efficiency in agricultural tasks.
