FADA published retail tractor sales data showing a total of 79,970 units sold in July 2024, down from 90,821 units in July 2023. This represents an 11.95% decrease in tractor sales in India for July 2024.

Brand-Wise FADA Tractor Sales Report 2024

In July 2024, Mahindra reported sales of 18,422 tractors, a decrease from 20,914 tractors sold in the same month last year, reflecting an 11.92% decline. Despite this drop, Mahindra’s market share rose by 0.01% in July 2024.

With 16,265 tractor sales in July 2024 compared to 16,383 in July 2023, Swaraj Tractor, a division of Mahindra & Mahindra, saw a minor decrease in tractor sales of 0.72%. Still, Swaraj Tractor’s market share rose by 2.30 percent.

International Tractors Limited sold 11,141 tractors in India in July 2024, a slight increase over the 11,063 units sold in the same month the previous year. The company also saw its market share grow by 1.75%.

Escorts Tractor sold 8,274 units in July 2024, a decrease from the 8,534 units sold in July 2023, reflecting a 3.05% drop in sales. Despite this reduction, Escorts Tractor’s market share rose by 0.95%.

TAFE Limited’s sales fell significantly, with 7,884 units sold in July 2024 compared to 12,420 units in July 2023, marking a 36.52% decline. The company’s market share also decreased by 3.82%.

John Deere Tractor reported a sales increase, with 6,251 units sold in July 2024, up from 5,529 units in July 2023. Sales increased by 13.06% as a result, and John Deere’s market share increased by 1.73%.

In July 2024, Eicher Tractor sold 5,420 units, marking a 20.25% decrease from the 6,796 units sold in July 2023. The company’s market share went down by 0.70%.

CNH Industrial (India) Pvt Ltd reported sales of 3,018 units in July 2024, down from 3,191 units in July 2023, reflecting a 5.42% decline. Despite the lower sales, the company saw a 0.26% increase in market share.

Kubota Tractor sold 1,461 units in July 2024, a 22.12% reduction from the 1,876 units sold in July 2023. Their market share also experienced a slight increase of about 0.24%.

Other brands saw a 55.43% decline in sales, moving from 4,115 units in July 2023 to 1,834 units in July 2024. They lost 2.24% of their market share as a result of this reduction.
