In September 2026, Mahindra tractor sells reached 52,100 tractors. This includes both export markets. Domestic sales stood at 50,208 units, with exports contributing another 1,892 units. These figures highlight the growth of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.’s Farm Equipment Business across international markets.
According to the company domestic sales fell by 23% compared with the month in 2025. The main reason for this fall is that the festive season moved to October this year while it started in September year. Additionally the comparison of sales is affected by a higher base in September 2025 after a GST rate cut that increased demand, during that time.

Commenting on the performance Veejay Nakra, President of the Farm Equipment Business at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. said that the company. sold 50,280 tractors in the market during September 2026. Veejay Nakra explained that the year-on-year decline. Was due to the shift in the season and the high base effect from the previous year. Veejay Nakra also pointed out that export sales reached 1982 tractors showing that the momentum, in markets is still strong.
Despite a drop in sales, Mahindra tractor sells for the financial year up to September 2026 went up by 6% to 262,872 units. This is higher than the 247,336 units sold during the period last year. Export numbers, for the six-month period grew by 16% reaching 11,196 units. When you add export sales together. The total comes to 274,068 units, which is a 7% increase compared to the previous year.
