23.66% of voters in the first four hours across all states

Amidst claims of EVM malfunctions in certain locations and a poll boycott in one Uttar Pradesh village, 49 constituencies across six States and two Union Territories saw an approximate voter turnout of 23.66% during the first four hours of voting.

West Bengal scored the highest voting percentage with 32.70%, while Maharashtra recorded the lowest voter participation until 11 am with 15.93% of electors exercising their right to vote.

The turnout was 21.11% in Bihar, 21.37% in Jammu and Kashmir, 26.18% in Jharkhand, 26.78% in Ladakh, 21.097% in Odisha, and 20.76% in Uttar Pradesh, among other states.

Up to 11 a.m., Amethi and Rae Bareli in Uttar Pradesh had voter turnouts of 27.20% and 28.10%, respectively.̧
