The National Agricultural Market (e-NAM) portal was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the year 2016 to solve the problems faced by farmers at the time of the sale of crops. This e-NAM portal has been implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India. A pan-Indian electronic trading platform called the National Agriculture Market (e-NAM) connects the APMC mandis with an internet network to establish a unified national market for agricultural products. The farmers of the country can sell their crops online at a fixed price through the internet sitting at home on this Indian electronic trading portal. The cooperative trading module now provided on e-NAM aims at facilitating the cooperatives to do business near the farmgate of the members without bringing the produce from their collection centers/warehouses to the APMC.

India Meteorological (IMD), weather forecast information including maximum-minimum temperature along with rain and thunderstorm information for E-NAM Mandis and adjoining areas will be available.
