The Indian tractor market has shown good growth in recent months, supported by positive rural demand and higher use of farm machines. Better farm income, timely farm activities, and rising interest in mechanised farming helped tractor sales grow both monthly and yearly.

December 2025 Monthly Tractor Market Analysis

Mahindra Tractors led with 29,475 units (25.63% market share).

Swaraj sold 22,213 units, contributing 19.32% to the market.

TAFE Limited and Escorts Kubota Limited sold 13,098 and 11,483 units, showing good monthly growth.

John Deere India sold 8,450 units, while Eicher Tractors sold 6,909 units. Smaller brands in “Others” sold 4,519 units, slightly lower than December 2024.

Yearly Tractor Market Analysis – 2025

India’s tractor market showed strong growth in 2025, with total sales reaching 9,96,633 units, up from 8,93,706 units in 2024. The top brands maintained their dominance, with Mahindra & Mahindra leading the market.

Mahindra Tractors sold 2,37,980 units, holding a 23.88% market share, slightly higher than 2024.

Swaraj sold 1,86,529 units with 18.72% market share, showing steady growth.

International Tractors Limited sold 1,26,741 units (12.72%), remaining third in market share.

TAFE Limited and Escorts Kubota Limited also performed well with 1,11,947 and 1,06,482 units, respectively.

John Deere India and Eicher Tractors continued to maintain their shares above 6%.

Smaller brands under “Others” contributed 45,267 units, showing slight decline compared to 2024. Overall, the steady rise in tractor sales clearly shows growing confidence among farmers and increasing use of tractors and farm machines across India.
