Escorts Kubota Limited’s Agri Machinery Business Division achieved record tractor sales in October 2024, with a total of 18,110 units sold, representing a 19.8% increase compared to 15,113 units sold in October 2023.
Domestic sales saw a significant rise of 22.6%, reaching 17,839 tractors, up from 14,550 units in the same month last year. This growth can be attributed to a combination of festive seasons, favorable economic conditions, increased Minimum Support Prices (MSP), and beneficial monsoon rains that have improved water levels. These positive factors are anticipated to sustain strong sales in the upcoming months. However, export sales declined, with only 271 tractors sold compared to 563 units in the previous year.

Domestic sales saw a growth of 2.7%, reaching 72,016 units in FY 24-25 (April-October), up from 70,137 units in the same period last year. However, export sales faced a significant decline of 29.1%, with 2,459 units sold in FY 24-25 (April-October), down from 3,470 units in FY 23-24 (April-October).
