The Meteorological Department has warned of unseasonal rain in many parts of the state from today (13/3/2023). Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada have been forecasted for rain with thundershowers between March 13 and 16, 2023.

There can be unseasonal rain in Vidarbha between March 14 and 16, 2023. In North Maharashtra, rain with hailstorms is expected again in some places and this is likely to affect the harvested crops.
The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted that unseasonal rain will hit many parts of the state once again in the month of February. Unseasonal rain may occur in various parts of the state till March 16, 2023. Farmers in Trouble Due to Unseasonal Rain

Farmers are faced with a double financial crisis as crops like mangoes, cashew nuts, and oranges fall due to fruit drop, which will adversely affect production.
While replying to the opposition party leaders, Deputy Chief Minister of the state Devendra Fadnavis, informed that 13 thousand 729 hectares of crops were damaged in the state due to unseasonal rains.
