Engine and Performance

• The 49 HP (horsepower) of the Eicher 548 provides excellent performance on the field. 2945 cc is the engine capacity of the tractor, which has 3 cylinders. It is among the fuel-efficient tractors in this HP range in India because of the combination.

• The Eicher model has an air-cooled cooling mechanism. It is among the most effective types to use with trolleys and requires less maintenance due to its air-cooled system.

• It includes an inline fuel pump, which is easy to maintain and has a straightforward design. Every cylinder receives fuel from this fuel pump independently.

PTO(Power-Take-off)

• The tractor's PTO operates at 540 RPM, which is measured at 1944 engine RPM. An optional multi-speed and reverse PTO is also available.

Transmission

• There are two clutch options available for the tractor: single or dual. Because it only has one clutch plate, the single-clutch variant is less expensive than the dual-clutch variant. Unlike a single clutch, though, a dual clutch allows the operator to use both the tractor and the PTO.

• Its gearbox is a partial constant mesh design. While this gearbox type offers greater comfort than a sliding mesh gearbox, it has a simpler structure and requires less maintenance than a constant mesh gearbox.

Hydraulics

• This type has a lifting capacity of 1650 kg. It can easily raise large tools like cultivators, disc ploughs,  potato planters, and many more due to its lifting capacity.

• A remote or auxiliary valve is an optional feature of the model. The valve is used to run hydraulic pumps that raise heavy equipment, including the Hydraulic Reversible MB Plough and Tipping Type Tractor Trailer.

Break and Steering 

• This model comes standard with oil-immersed brakes and sealed dry disc brakes as an option. Compared to oil-immersed braking systems, dry brakes usually need less maintenance. Oil-immersed brakes, however, provide a superior braking sensation and increased safety.

• There is mechanical steering in the steering system, and power steering is an option. To turn the tractor, mechanical steering needs more effort than power steering. The power steering version, however, is more expensive.
