The EKL dispatched 10,354 tractors, compared to 10,286\u2002tractors for the same month last year. That represents a 0.7%\u2002gain in tractor sales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, domestic tractor sales\u2002dropped 2% to 9703 units as against 9906 units in the year-ago month. Meanwhile, export sales\u2002continue to soar, from 380 units to 651 (up 71.3%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The arrival of monsoon\u2002rains on time this year has buoyed spirits in the field, the company said. As per routine, preparations for the Kharif\u2002season are in the works. Going forward, the company\u2002anticipates this positive momentum to sustain, driven by above-average monsoon forecasts, comfortable reservoir levels, and enhanced liquidity in rural markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
