Towards achieving the goal of Swaraj Tractors generating up to 50 percent of its energy from renewables, this project promises to break new ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-0cfc285daea7b3932191c9b9a44d7bd5\">Initiative for Green Energy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-8496cc6b0e66b72728d497683638fee9\">With the use of the technology introduced by <strong>Mahindra Susten<\/strong> for this <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/khetigaadi.com\/blog\/solar-plant-farming\/\">Solar Energy<\/a> Project,<\/strong> clean energy will be going to four Swaraj Tractor plants two in <strong>Mohali <\/strong>and two at <strong>Dera Bassi.<\/strong> It is expected that the project will generate around 60 million kWh a year in renewable power, offsetting some <strong>54,600<\/strong> tonnes of CO\u2082 emissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-e9f4ba3e01242c47ce653a40084a0756\">This initiative not only reinforces the<a href=\"https:\/\/khetigaadi.com\/new-tractor-brand\/mahindra\/en\"> <strong>Mahindra Group<\/strong><\/a><strong>&#8216;s <\/strong>commitment to sustainability and fighting climate change\u2014it also sets a new standard for green energy utilization in tractor manufacturing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-254b512aa2d16cf070efa200d3641836\">Perspectives of professionals in the industry<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-ed7c758ef235731fef85c3b69829ba30\"><strong>Hemant Sikka, Farm Equipment Sector President for Mahindra &amp; Mahindra Ltd,<\/strong> commented to the effect that, &#8220;With this innovative solar energy project, we are setting a new benchmark in India for incorporating green power on such a large scale into tractor manufacturing.
