There will be major changes in the weather till March 1 because of a western disturbance. Accordingly, a few areas might\u00a0accross\u00a0mist, snow, light to moderate and also heavy rain. On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has forecast drizzles and rain in Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh, Delhi, UP, and Rajasthan from February 26 to 28, 2025. Also, there is a chance of heavy rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir between 25 and 28 February, in Himachal Pradesh between 26 and 28 February, and in Uttarakhand on 27 and 28 February.\u00a0<br>\u00a0<br>There may also be scattered light to moderate rain over the next 24 hours in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, with isolated places receiving heavy showers, predicted a private meteorological department. There will also be mild to moderate rain in Sikkim, Assam, and Arunachal Pradesh. A cyclonic circulation lies over East Assam.\u00a0<br>\u00a0<br>Today&#8217;s Weather: Rain predictions for the next 24 hours\u00a0<br>\u00a0<br>The Andaman and Nicobar Islands are likely to see light to moderate rain, heavy in some places. Light to moderate rain may occur in Sikkim, Assam, and Arunachal Pradesh. It will be scattered with light rain in Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad Jammu-Kashmir, and Northwestern Rajasthan.\u00a0<br>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-c23cccbece44adf233d36c94bde15a98\">Warmer weather, increased rai,<strong>n and a lot of snow starting February 25<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-6efc76d2b6891dbb1c429540e2628c25\">Between February 25 and March 2 or 3, rainfall and snowfall activities are likely to increase over the Western Himalayan region, as per\u00a0Skymet\u00a0Weather. Between February 26 and March 1, heavy to very heavy snowfall and rain are likely over the Western Himalayas. Light to moderate rainfall is likely over Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh from February 26 to March 1.ight rain is likely to occur from February 27 to 1 March 1 in western Uttar Pradesh. There might be light rain in north Rajasthan on February 27 and 28.\u00a0<br>\u00a0<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-750abd416df55861c22c1542599b8b5f\"><strong>5-Day Weather Forecast<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-6844408d6b3dda29dddfa17d2132e3d2\">All India Weather: Demand for rain or snowfall in Northwest India (Rain forecast in North India), Oct 31, 2023, 6:28 PM IST. Intense snowfall could make visibility quite low. An area of low pressure moving over from the southern Andaman and Nicobar Islands could bring heavy rain from Tuesday to Wednesday. Over the next few days, dense fog is forecast in parts of Northeast India. Maximum temperatures over most parts of India are likely to be near normal or slightly above normal. NCR and nearby areas would experience maximum day temperatures below normal on Thursday and Friday. Minimum temperatures will be above or well above normal over most parts of India.\u00a0<br>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-83f57d3921deab6d462332dd6a180417\"><strong>Rain forecast for Uttar Pradesh from February 27 for 3 days<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-75af74ea5d6113beb3574397ba4bcf69\">The Meteorological Department had issued a warning of rain in the state for three days from February 27. Other parts should expect thunderstorms and lightning. There is a possibility of rain in one or two places in Noida, Ghaziabad,\u00a0Baghpat, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Shamli, Bijnor, Amroha, Saharanpur, and Moradabad on February 27. There is also the potential for thunderstorms and lightning. Over 33 districts could witness rain and thunderstorms on the 28th day of February.\u00a0<br>\u00a0<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-b15bc7785ad40c8f1b47b890f887c4ef\"><strong>The dry weather is likely to resume from March 2.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-4a1ecf889eeeb5a9fcd53c30789290fc\">\u00a0<br>Delhi will witness increasing mercury levels, while thunderstorms and rain showers are also likely in NCR. The morning will see dense fog over Delhi; however, the sky will remain clear during the day. IMD said the minimum temperature will rise by 2-3 degrees to settle around 15\u00b0C from Wednesday. Maximum temperatures will also increase a bit.
