State Govt. announces Coconut Plant Distribution Program for 2024-25<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Huge Subsidy on Coconut Plants!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Horticulture Directorate of Bihar’s Agriculture Department has announced the Coconut Plant Distribution Program for 2024-25. This scheme aims to distribute coconut plants across all 38 state districts, providing farmers with a significant subsidy to boost their production. Under this program, each coconut plant costs \u20b985, and farmers will receive a 75% subsidy, reducing their cost to just \u20b921.25 per plant. This substantial financial aid will allow farmers to purchase more plants and enhance this farming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coconut Farming Now More Profitable!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.              Procurement of Plants: Coconut saplings will be sourced from the Coconut Development Board and distributed to farmers by the Assistant Director of Horticulture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.              Advance Payment: Farmers must deposit \u20b921.25 per plant with the Assistant Director before receiving the plants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.              Number of Plants: Farmers can purchase a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 712 plants (178 plants per hectare) at subsidized rates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to register?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To avail of this scheme, farmers can apply under the “Coconut Plant Distribution Scheme (State Plan)” on the Horticulture Department’s website by following the “Apply<\/strong><\/a>” link and entering the required details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This scheme will be implemented statewide, aiming to promote coconut production and increase farmers’ incomes. By providing a subsidy, the government hopes to encourage more farmers to cultivate coconuts, enhancing agricultural productivity and profitability in Bihar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
