This scheme, effective from the 2023-24 Kharif season until the 2025-26 Rabi season, aims to provide comprehensive coverage against crop losses due to natural calamities, pests, and diseases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-b2b2a0200b70be4f9e63b85a089ffcf3\">To provide insurance cover to farmers in case of crop loss due to unforeseen adverse conditions like natural calamities, pests and diseases. To maintain financial stability of farmers even in the most difficult situation of crop loss. The objectives of the scheme are to encourage the use of innovative and improved tillage technologies and inputs, to maintain continuity of credit to the agricultural sector, so as to protect farmers from production risks, diversification of food security crops and to achieve the objective of dynamic development and increase in competitiveness of the agricultural sector, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-c237a3452c7dfd1f8ea29c1691a498f9\"><strong>Key Objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-5d2a8555310663b664499768f9e3641c\">\n<li>Encourage adoption of advanced farming techniques and inputs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure financial stability for farmers in times of crop loss.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain continuity of credit to the agricultural sector.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Safeguard farmers from production risks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promote diversification of food security crops.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enhance competitiveness in agriculture.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-5ba96d7a1d08369556a8b153bbf32b76\"><strong>Pay just 1 rupee to register:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-c38171f30a5086a0c7dde8057b8a2763\">In this scheme, farmers have to register on the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/khetigaadi.com\/news\/get-kharif-loan-without-cibil-score\/\">crop insurance<\/a><\/strong> portal by paying only 1 rupee per application. After deducting the insurance premium of 1 rupee, the remaining difference will be paid through the state government as general insurance premium subsidy. The insurance company will accept liability up to 110 percent of the total accumulated insurance premium in the district group in a year.
